BobChatter.com web-based IM/ Chat service has released "Party" functionality to it's iPhone/ iPod Touch technology.
A BobChatter "Party" allows any user to setup a custom chat environment where only users in the "party" are able to communicate.
Example: 100 users are on BobChatter at once. If John creates a Party named "cool" and 2 users crash the "cool" party. John and two others can chat.
The remaining 97 users are located at the default "home" location.
Parties can also be used for topic based chatting.
Example: A Linux Guru can setup a "Linux" party and invite his/ her cronies for Linux chatting.
Users can switch from "Party" to "Party" in warp speed.
Among with the introduction of "Parties", BobChatter has added a choice of avatars, and fixed many bugs.
