Can not help to write about the ridiculousness of Apple's policies regaring the $199 iPhone 3G due to be released on Friday.
How can a company which was on the verge of bankruptcy 10 or so years ago, today have so much control in the offering of some mobile device. I mean Apple will not release one of the new devices if a person does not present all of the below:
Credit card,
Social Security number,
Government-issued photo ID,
AT&T Wireless Account
Pass a credit check
And be at least 18 years old
The 3G iPhone may be cool and all but if Apple is expecting a person to present all of the above information, they should also force a person to join a communist regime and perhaps sign there life away to the Apple/ AT&T Army.
Guess I will wait to hack the iPhone 3G!
